The University of Mississippi announced students named to the Fall 2022 Honor Roll lists, including Chancellor's Honor Roll.

Middle Tennessee State University is congratulating the 5,920-plus students who appear on the dean's list for the fall 2022 semester. To qualify for this distinction, an undergraduate student must maintain a current semester grade-point average of 3.5 or above and earn at least 12 semester hours. More than 600 students graduated from the University of Mississippi in December 2022. Undergraduate and graduate candidates received degrees from the College of Liberal Arts, General Studies and schools of Law, Pharmacy, Journalism and New Media, Engineering, Education, Business Administration, Applied Sciences and Patterson School of Accountancy.

Southern New Hampshire University congratulates the following students on being named to the Honor Roll for the 22TW2 term. Honor Roll is a term-specific achievement that recognizes learners who excel at SNHU. It was established in 2022 to help recognize learners who do not qualify for President's List or Dean's List. Due to differences in term structures, SNHU's online and campus populations have different eligibility requirements for Honor Roll. Eligibility for the SNHU Honor Roll requires that a student earn an academic grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher for the term, and meet the following criteria. Students on the President's List achieved a 3.80 or better grade-point average, based on a 4.0 scale, while completing at least 12 semester hours of course work with no incomplete grades or grades lower than a C.

Mississippi State University congratulates 2,445 students who were named to the fall 2022 Deans' List. Deans' List students achieved a grade-point average between 3.5 and 3.79, based on a 4.0 scale, while completing at least 12 semester hours of course work with no incomplete grades or grades lower than a C.

Kennesaw State University congratulates the more than 7,600 Owls named to the University's Dean's List, which recognizes students for their academic achievement during the Fall 2022 semester. Undergraduate students enrolled in at least nine credit hours and with a term grade point average of at least 3.5 were named to the list.

The following students achieved the Dean's List at Belmont University for the Fall 2022 semester. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours (exclusive of audit and pass/fail courses this semester) and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C (inclusive of audit, pass/fail courses and zero-credit courses).

More than 850 students graduated from Hinds Community College in one of two ceremonies Dec. 15 at the Muse Center on the Rankin Campus. Hinds awarded nearly 1,300 credentials as many students will earn more than one credential. In total, 123 students graduated cum laude with a grade point average of 3.2 to 3.59; 73 graduated magna cum laude with a grade point average of 3.6 to 3.99 and 11 graduated summa cum laude with a grade point average of 4.0. The University of Mississippi welcomed more than 200 students into the UM chapter of Phi Kappa Phi in fall 2022. Phi Kappa Phi is one of the nation's oldest, largest and most selective honor societies for all academic disciplines.

A new cohort of 13 Stamps Scholars has enrolled at the University of Mississippi. The Stamps Scholars Program awards scholarships based on academic excellence, leadership experience and exceptional character. The new class brings the number of Stamps Scholars at Ole Miss to 58, making the university the second-largest in the program.

Nineteen University of Mississippi students have been accepted to medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center through the Early Decision Program.

Several University of Mississippi students were featured in the debut of the university's new television commercial Sept. 17 during the football game between Ole Miss and Georgia Tech on ABC. The 30-second commercial, titled "Where are You Going," features Ole Miss students describing their personal aspirations paired with popular spots on campus and in Oxford, showing viewers where leaders are made and legacies are born.

Announcing Choctaw Marching Band 2022 Ensemble The Choctaw Marching Band is directed by Duncan Goff, and consists of many different sounds including the flute, clarinet, saxophone, mellophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone, sousaphone, percussion, and the Color Guard. The Marching Band will be performing at various football games and other events through the fall season.

The University of Central Arkansas held spring commencement on Friday, May 6, and Saturday, May 7, 2022, in the Farris Center on campus. The university conferred 1,032 undergraduate and 282 graduate degrees and certificates from the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences; College of Business; College of Education; College of Health and Behavioral Sciences; and College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
