President's List Announced for Fall 2022

The Mississippi College Office of Academic Affairs releases the president's list after the close of fall and spring semesters each academic year. To be eligible for the President's List, a student must maintain a 4.0 grade point average, based on a 4.0 system. The student must take a full course load of at least 12 semester hours of undergraduate credit with all academic courses impacting their grade point average.

Hinds Community College Fall 2022 Graduates

More than 850 students graduated from Hinds Community College in one of two ceremonies Dec. 15 at the Muse Center on the Rankin Campus. Hinds awarded nearly 1,300 credentials as many students will earn more than one credential. In total, 123 students graduated cum laude with a grade point average of 3.2 to 3.59; 73 graduated magna cum laude with a grade point average of 3.6 to 3.99 and 11 graduated summa cum laude with a grade point average of 4.0. UM Welcomes 13 Stamps Scholars for 2022

A new cohort of 13 Stamps Scholars has enrolled at the University of Mississippi. The Stamps Scholars Program awards scholarships based on academic excellence, leadership experience and exceptional character. The new class brings the number of Stamps Scholars at Ole Miss to 58, making the university the second-largest in the program.

University of Mississippi Students Featured in National TV Commercial

Several University of Mississippi students were featured in the debut of the university's new television commercial Sept. 17 during the football game between Ole Miss and Georgia Tech on ABC. The 30-second commercial, titled "Where are You Going," features Ole Miss students describing their personal aspirations paired with popular spots on campus and in Oxford, showing viewers where leaders are made and legacies are born.

Announcing Marching Band 2022 Ensemble

Announcing Choctaw Marching Band 2022 Ensemble The Choctaw Marching Band is directed by Duncan Goff, and consists of many different sounds including the flute, clarinet, saxophone, mellophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone, sousaphone, percussion, and the Color Guard. The Marching Band will be performing at various football games and other events through the fall season.

Southern New Hampshire University congratulates the following students on being named to the Honor Roll for the 22EW6 term. Honor Roll is a term-specific achievement that recognizes learners who excel at SNHU. It was established in 2022 to help recognize learners who do not qualify for President's List or Dean's List. Due to differences in term structures, SNHU's online and campus populations have different eligibility requirements for Honor Roll. Eligibility for the SNHU Honor Roll requires that a student earn an academic grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher for the term, and meet the following criteria. Campus Students: Part-time, coursework-only, and graduate students studying on campus are eligible for the Honor Roll. Full-time campus students (12+ credits) are not eligible for the Honor Roll, but may be eligible for President's List or Dean's List. Online Learners: Due to differences in term structures, full- and part-time undergraduate and all graduate online students and coursework-only learners are eligible for the Honor Roll. Please note: Full-time online undergraduate students who receive the Honor Roll may also be eligible for President's List or Dean's List. SNHU's President's and Dean's Lists require online students to accumulate 12 credits in either EW1 & EW2, EW3 & EW4, or EW5 & EW6 and earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Honor Roll is evaluated at the end of every term while Dean's List and President's List are evaluated at the end of each set of paired terms for online students. SNHU Announces Summer 2022 President's List

It is with great pleasure that Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) congratulates the following students on being named to the Summer 2022 President's List. The summer terms run from May to August. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

UCA announces spring 2022 graduates

The University of Central Arkansas held spring commencement on Friday, May 6, and Saturday, May 7, 2022, in the Farris Center on campus. The university conferred 1,032 undergraduate and 282 graduate degrees and certificates from the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences; College of Business; College of Education; College of Health and Behavioral Sciences; and College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.

Ole Miss Women's Council Awards 2022 Scholarships

University of Mississippi rising freshmen have been awarded Ole Miss Women's Council for Philanthropy scholarships, among the largest and most innovative awards on the University of Mississippi campus. The scholarships have a far greater impact on students' lives than just providing them with financial assistance, said Liz Randall, chair of the OMWC. "We give our scholarship recipients access to caring guidance from mentors, significant training in leadership skills, exceptional life and career development, and meaningful personal development through travel and cultural opportunities," Randall said. "OMWC's goal is to prepare our scholars for extraordinary lives and careers, while encouraging them to develop a lifelong commitment to creating a caring, more ethical world."

Hinds Community College Spring 2022 Graduates

Hinds Community College graduated more than 1,300 students in one of four graduation ceremonies over two days May 11 and 12 at the Muse Center on the Rankin Campus and a fifth Saturday May 14 ceremony at J.D. Boyd Gymnasium on the Utica Campus. Hinds awarded 1,671 certificates and degrees, with some students receiving more than one credential. Of those graduating, 252 graduated cum laude with a grade point average of 3.2 to 3.59; 199 graduated magna cum laude with a grade point average of 3.6 to 3.99 and 209 graduated summa cum laude with a grade point average of 4.0.
