Mississippi State University congratulates nearly 3,500 students who are among the spring 2024 graduates.

The University of West Alabama has announced nearly 500 outstanding undergraduate students named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2024 academic semester. Spring 2024 academic honors recipients represent 62 out of 67 Alabama counties and 83 counties from 19 other states. The Dean's List gives recognition to those undergraduate students those with grade-point averages between 3.25 and 3.79, completing at least twelve semester credit hours, with no grade lower than a "C." Spring 2024 academic honors recipients represent 62 out of 67 Alabama counties and 83 counties from 19 other states. The President's List gives recognition to undergraduate students with exceptionally high grades for the semester, those with grade-point averages of 3.80 or higher, completing at least twelve semester credit hours, with no grade lower than a "C." The University of Mississippi announced students named to the Spring 2024 Honor Roll lists, including Dean's Honor Roll.

More than 15,000 University of Maryland Global Campus students were named to the Dean's List for the spring 2024 term. To be eligible for the honor, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earned a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC.

The University of Mississippi announced students named to the Spring 2024 Honor Roll lists, including Chancellor's Honor Roll.

Kellygrace Loko grew up in the West African country of Togo but came to the U.S. at the start of 2020 to fulfill a dream of helping others. The first part of her journey to pursue a career in medicine was fulfilled as she received her diploma at the University of Mississippi's 171st Commencement ceremonies. Loko was honored as this year's class marshal for the Bachelor of Multi-Disciplinary Studies degree program.

Middle Tennessee State University is congratulating 5,475 students who appear on the dean's list for the spring 2024 semester. To qualify for this distinction, an undergraduate student must maintain a current semester grade-point average of 3.5 or above and earn at least 12 semester hours. The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce the Spring 2024 Dean's List. Students named to the Dean's List represent nearly all of Rhode Island's cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, and many other states and countries. To be included on the Dean's List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable earning at least a 3.30 quality point average.

TROY is pleased to announce students who have been named to the Provost's List for the Spring Semester and Term 4 of the 2023-2024 academic year. Full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who have a grade point average of at least 3.65 qualify for the Provost's List. The Spring Semester includes students at the Troy, Ala., campus. Term 4 includes students at TROY's campuses in Dothan, Phenix City and Montgomery, Ala., along with locations outside of Alabama and online.

Emilie Mai has always known that she wanted to be a dentist. When the Brandon native enrolled as a freshman at the University of Mississippi, she chose an allied health major on the pre-dentistry track, but she knew this was not the right fit for her. She looked at all the available majors and settled on chemistry, specifically forensic chemistry.

Hinds Community College awarded 1,270 credentials to 972 graduates in four ceremonies held over three days on May 8-10, which means many graduates earned more than one credential. Among the graduates, 448 graduated with honors, including 260 cum laude, 3.2 - 3.59 GPA out of 4.0; 152 magna cum laude, 3.60 - 3.99 GPA and 36 summa cum laude, with a perfect 4.0 GPA. It is with great pleasure that Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) congratulates the following students on being named to the Spring 2024 President's List. The spring terms run from January to May. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

President's Scholars are those with a cumulative 4.0 grade point average.

The University of Mississippi selected 80 students to receive a 2024 Marcus Elvis Taylor Memorial Medal, the university's highest academic award.

Samford University recognizes 1,931 students named to the Dean's List for the spring 2024 semester. To qualify for the dean's list, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework. The Dean's List is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester.

Eighty-seven University of Mississippi students were inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the nation's oldest and most prestigious undergraduate honors organization in the liberal arts. The university held an induction ceremony on April 5, 2024, in the Johnson Commons Ballroom on campus. Phi Beta Kappa membership is an honor conferred upon fewer than 10% of each graduating class. Students do not apply for membership but are elected by the chapter after a review of the academic records of each eligible candidate.

President's Scholars are those with a cumulative 4.0 grade point average.

Hinds Community College has announced the Deans' Scholars for the Fall 2023 semester. Deans' Scholars are those students with a cumulative 3.5 to 3.9 grade point average.

Thirteen teams of Mississippi State students in the College of Architecture, Art and Design's innovative Collaborative Studio recently created a master plan for a hypothetical cultural campus. The plan included a freestanding museum, which would hold the university's collections currently housed at the Cobb Institute Museum, Dunn-Seiler Museum and Department of Art galleries. Located adjacent to The Mill Conference Center, the cultural campus also would include the new Ulysses S. Grant Presidential Library. The studio is funded by the PCI Foundation, and its projects are focused on the use of precast concrete for structure and cladding for museum designs.

More than 140 University of Mississippi students were welcomed into the Phi Kappa Phi honor society, one of the nation's oldest and most prestigious honor societies for all academic disciplines. The university held an induction ceremony on April 4, 2024, at the Gertrude C. Ford Center for the Performing Arts on campus. Membership in Phi Kappa Phi is based on a student's character and academic standing. Juniors must have completed 72 credit hours and rank in the top 7.5% of their class, while seniors and graduate students must rank in the top 10% of their class.

Fifty-eight rising seniors joined the Tassels Chapter of Mortar Board at the University of Mississippi. Mortar Board is a national honor society that recognizes college seniors for their achievements in scholarship, leadership and service, provides opportunities for continued leadership development, promotes service to colleges and universities and encourages lifelong contributions to the global community.
