Mississippi State University announces spring 2025 graduates

Mississippi State University congratulates approximately 3,500 students who are among the spring 2025 graduates. MSU President Mark E. Keenum congratulated graduates as their keynote speaker for the May commencement, reminding the class that the university's core values-integrity, hard work and respect-will serve as their foundation for life after graduation and help them change the world. "Those who live with core moral values stand out in this world, and people take notice of them. These values reflect who you are as a Mississippi State Bulldog, and being a Bulldog is something to be proud of," Keenum said. "My prayer for all of you is that many decades from now, you'll reflect over all that you achieved and realize it was your Mississippi State education and your values, courage and faith that enabled you to change the world for good-that you made a difference with your life. Never forget that whatever you do and achieve, you will always be a member of our proud Bulldog family."

Hinds Community College Spring 2025 Graduates

Hinds Community Collge awarded more than 1,200 degrees and certificates to 900 Hinds graduates over three days, May 14-16, which means a number of graduates earned more than one community college credential. Among the graduates, 437 students graduated with honors, including 220 cum laude, or 3.2 to 3.59 grade point average; 154 magna cum laude, or 3.6-3.99 GPA and 63 summa cum laude, a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Hinds Community College Fall 2024 Graduates

Hinds Community Collge awarded 966 degrees and 637 certificates, which means many graduates earned more than one credential. Among the graduates, 233 graduated with honors including 136 cum laude, or 3.2 to 3.59 grade point average; 75 magna cum laude, or 3.6-3.99 GPA and 22 summa cum laude, a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Mississippi State University congratulates approximately 1,500 students who are among the fall 2024 graduates. MSU President Mark E. Keenum congratulated graduates as their keynote speaker for the December commencement, reminding the class that the university's core values will serve as their foundation for life after graduation and help them change the world. "You understand our values that we uphold here at Mississippi State," he said. "Integrity: Strive to have a reputation in your life of being the kind of person that other people can trust and count on. Hard work: You had to work hard just to be sitting here today, continue that work ethic. Respect for other people: Be the kind of person that other people just enjoy being around because you're always so nice, kind, thoughtful and considerate of others. Kellygrace Loko Comes to University of Mississippi From South Africa to Train for Career in Helping Others

Kellygrace Loko grew up in the West African country of Togo but came to the U.S. at the start of 2020 to fulfill a dream of helping others. The first part of her journey to pursue a career in medicine was fulfilled as she received her diploma at the University of Mississippi's 171st Commencement ceremonies. Loko was honored as this year's class marshal for the Bachelor of Multi-Disciplinary Studies degree program.

Emilie Mai has always known that she wanted to be a dentist. When the Brandon native enrolled as a freshman at the University of Mississippi, she chose an allied health major on the pre-dentistry track, but she knew this was not the right fit for her. She looked at all the available majors and settled on chemistry, specifically forensic chemistry.
