Raymond, MS (04/19/2026) — A Celebration of Life for Hinds Community College President Emeritus Dr. Vernon Clyde Muse will be held Monday, April 20, 2026, on the Raymond Campus at Cain-Cochran Hall. Dr. Muse, president of the college for 38 years, passed away on April 15.
Designated media parking will be in the parking lot behind the Facilities Management Building, 505 E. Main Street. A location map is attached.
NO CAMERAS, PHOTOGRAPY OR MEDIA INTERVIEWS WILL BE ALLOWED INSIDE CAIN-COCHRAN HALL OR THE CAIN-COCHRAN HALL PARKING LOT AND GROUNDS BEFORE, DURING OR AFTER THE VISITATION AND FUNERAL SERVICES.
