Hinds CC-Western Governors University Partnership Signing
Raymond, MS (12/02/2025) — Hinds Community College and Western Governors University (WGU) will announce their partnership in a ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 10:30 a.m. at Fountain Hall on the Hinds Raymond Campus.
Hinds President Dr. Stephen Vacik will provide remarks.
WGU is an accredited, nonprofit online university offering more than 80 bachelor's and master's degrees and certificate programs in business, IT, healthcare and K-12 education.
WGU's asynchronous competency-based programs are designed to fit into busy work and home schedules and create pathways to opportunity. WGU partners with community colleges around the country to offer students seeking a bachelor's degree unique pathways to make the transfer process less time-consuming and more affordable.
