Hinds CC Hi-Steppers ready to dance during 2025-2026 school year

Raymond, MS (09/04/2025) — Hinds Community College is proud to announce the 2025-2026 Hi-Steppers, one of the oldest precision dance lines in the nation with a history of excellence and goodwill. The Hi-Steppers will perform with the Eagle Marching Band at home football games, including the upcoming Hinds-Copiah-Lincoln Community College matchup on Sept. 11. They are directed by Bekah King.

Since 1949, the Hinds Hi-Steppers have performed for audiences across the United States, Canada and Europe. No group in the U.S. has received more invitations to nationally televised bowl games, professional football games, or parades. The Hi-Steppers are still a favorite today as they perform with the Eagle Marching Band at football games, exhibitions, parades and community and charitable events. Known as Mississippi's Goodwill Ambassadors, the dancers have given their time and energy to many worthy causes.
